     @georgetakei The lawmakers only care about cheap thoughts and prayers. They are uniquely able to affect the situation but it's just too profitable to do anything.

     Lawmakers, act for their benefactors, in Texas as other red states, their benefactors means the NRA, at least for the unregulated use of weapons, doing what weapons are designed to do kill.
