Børge (forteller@tutoteket.no)'s status on Sunday, 07-May-2023 22:44:28 JST Børge @Squig Yes. Whenever you publish a language is added as metadata. If you don't select one, then the default language of your instance is used, or the language that the post you replied to was tagged as.
It's a long list of languages to choose from, but obviously not all. Don't know what to do if you post in a language not on the list, other than to ask to have it added.
