     @helene @cope @mergan rumors about a funny image floating around about mastodon struggling with webp are unfounded and untrue as of the time of writing
     
     the purported creator of such an image will go to such lengths as changing user agent to avoid webp when retrieving hehe pictures from the internet so there is significant conflict of interest
