     the first two games were not my type of game, SR3 is yeah, very silly
     what came afterwards i didn't like as much either

     @helene I think that SR3 is the one I heard about the most, at least when it got released.
     
     Honestly, if you recommend it, I could add it to the list of games I would stream :hifumihappy:

     @helene @solidsanek tbh SR3 is prolly the most polished saints row game there is, the first two just feel like budget bin games and the shit that came after SR3 are just blatant cash grabs

     @solidsanek @helene SR3 is great if you’ve never played it. The remaster is buggy as all hell but the original still holds up imo

     @icedquinn I'll be honest my outsider's view of Saints Row is basically "GTA but we embrace the wackiness and don't take ourselves seriously". I don't know how accurate that statement is, but according to the few gameplay vids I've seen, that's how it seemed to me

     @solidsanek i played 2, 3 and 4 and never played gat out of hell. it was some spinoff because the studios were cash desperate.
     
     4 was supposed to have been the capstone dlc for 3 but they decided to screw everyone on the season pass and do a standalone release.
     
     they are okay games. the second one was at least able to take itself seriously enough for the jokes to work though.

     @VD15 @helene It's weird to see publishers keeping on stores both the original and the remastered versions available on steam, but I'm not complaining about this if the remaster sucks
