   @apps Is it normal that whenever I boot the application, it always starts at the exact same old toot? It never refreshes when I scroll up and click on another toot, and doesn't seem to honor the option to "remember my place in the timeline". It only refreshes when I manually clear cache. Running on a self-hosted Pleroma instance, if that's a factor

     Yes, that's the default behaviour. In settings, you can disable the remember position. Also, you can disable the cache feature.
