How can we trick advertisers into standardizing the polarisation axis of their screens? 🤔

Sunglasses are polarized at a specific angle to filter glare that is coming most often from horizontal surfaces, like bodies of water, road pavements, vehicle hoods, windshields. Screen manufacturers on the other hand are free to use any angle, but are probably constrained by the manufacturing process.

Maybe the advertisers will all agree to go for 90° off from what Ray-Ban and other big brands use? I can see advertisers and sunglass companies agreeing on this.
That would allow a smaller sunglasses company to block all advertisements by doing the opposite.
One can dream 😄
