  @kj30D@blob.cat I found a bunch of chiebukuro (Japanese Yahoo answers) people saying that an NOA employee named Luigi because it was a common name and that the thing with ruiji was a complete coincidence and irrelevant. it seems that this naming story is true for Luigi.
