I really wish the Lenovo X1 Fold ran #Linux smoothly. I love the versatility of that device.

@jared this is an extremely unique device. Particularly when it comes to the keyboard that magnetically attaches to the screen and auto updates the display configuration. It’s also not a well supported CPU. I don’t think any distro fully supports it.
@killyourfm What distro did you use? PopOS ran great on my very old Lenovo Miix 320, screen rotation, audio and media buttons all worked. Pop is a little heavy for 2G of RAM was my only problem.
@killyourfm would love reading in a bit more detail what could be improved on a device like this
@iod This thread on Lenovo's site is a bummer to read through. It includes comments from Lenovo's Mark Pearson who heads up their Linux team. He basically says it's not in good shape.
Follow-ups more than 1 year later aren't more positive.
Essentially, screen rotation, bluetooth, and on-device buttons all problematic among other things.
