   @kline Loopback is only for temporary testing purposes - if you think you need more than that, you're doing something very wrong.
   
   If you want to do things only local to the machine, you should use Unix sockets, not networking.

     I can't believe IPv6 lovers are issuing single machines entire /64s and then justify exactly 1 address for the loopback interface.

     Should have just made ::/64 the loopback block.
