   @Motzmichel @energisch_ Es gibt ja Geräte ab Werk ohne den ganzen Google und Vendor Softwareschrott, auch gut erschwinglich. Umso fataler wenns auf Hardwareebene passiert wo sich nichtmal die Smartphonehersteller gegen wehren können.

     @energisch_ @Natanox Google sendet massiv Daten nach Hause. Die Chiphersteller auch. Samsung sammelt ganz sicher auch Daten. Und mir ist schon klar, dass auch Apple diesbezüglich nicht unschuldig ist. Aber gerade bei Android summiert sich das ganz gefährlich. Und um ein Android System sicher zu machen, brauche ich zum einen umfangreiche Kenntnisse und auch die Fähigkeit, ein solches sicheres System aufzusetzen. Für Laien ist das absolut nichts …

     Smartphones using the Snapdragon 630 chip were found to call home to Qualcomm without the consent of the user, bypassing the whole operating system. Data includes unique hardware ID, current IP, country, your ISP, list of installed apps and other data.

     It is send unencrypted and gets combined with data broker profiles.
