   @pikhq Yes. I used to be one of those "just move" types when I was younger. What I didn't understand was that, even sometimes when you could afford to move, it's about more than that. For example, I now have to support a disabled extended family member. That's two homes I have to move, plus the vast disruption to her life and also reestablishing her services. It's not just as simple as packing up an apartment and going.

     i think every single person who suggests "just move" in response to some variety of state oppression should shut the fuck up unless they are going to put in the time, the energy, and the expense to help people do that
