Never forget that Tucker Carlson had the only show on cable news that actually allowed progressive (i.e. anti-war) activists to appear on American television during the past 6 or 7 years. Anyone superficially associated with the “Left” who praises his dismissal should be reminded of this.

Intelligent critiques of Carlson have always come from the vantage point of co-opted opposition. All but the most ignorant, disingenuous, and dangerously unstable observers will acknowledge that he was himself actually, by any any meaningful remaining use of the term, the most “progressive” voice on cable news.

Do not engage in political debates with people mentally unable or unwilling to process this. Encourage them to find healthier hobbies or stay the hell away from them.
