   wonder what happens if you lose your passport abroad, but you are not resident of your citizenship country. ie if I lose my passport I can get an emergency travel document from the russian embassy, but that one is only valid for going back to russia, where I don't actually live anymore

     @rin you can travel without a passport, you just need to convince the flight company that they'll take you in at your destination.

     @lain@lain.com We're not permitted to fly internationally without valid passports for all passengers. Could be different my company/country, but that's definitely not happening here with my carrier. We're not about to put our neck out to get roasted by customs/immigration and potentially face penalties. @rin@post.ebin.club
