This is simply horrifying. Like you, we can't understand how any politicians could stoop so low as to attack the most vulnerable among us.

I may not be able to *empathize* with it, but I can understand it. They're fucking evil psychopaths who want nothing less than power over other people and power to inflict harm on those they don't like.

@georgetakei Ordinary people don't really have a voice, but you do. Have you considered addressing the UN and asking for sanctions against states violating the UN Declaration of Human Rights? Their products should be banned from international export, for example. Their legislators should be denied VISAs. There's lots the UN can do to name and shame - and economically impact - red states.
