   Call me old-fashioned, but you should be able to ring a doorbell, get in the wrong car in a parking lot, or drive down the wrong driveway without getting shot at, injured or killed.

     arms dealers always sell to both sides. they care about profits, not deaths.

     the NRA is a gun/arms manufacturer lobby group, not a gun enthusiast group.

     towards white folks: 'buy a gun to protect yourself from scary black people'
     towards black people: 'see all those white people buying guns? better buy a gun yourself to hold them off'

     @georgetakei When I was 18 I went to the station to collect my mother. My friend went to ask what time the train was due and before he came back a similar car stopped next to me. He got in it, looked at the driver, they both did a double-take and he got back out again. No guns were fired and, as this is the UK, it was unlikely anyone at the car park even owned one. I'm not visiting the USA - it's scary!

     @georgetakei i once got into a car who i thought was my friends(she owned a car rental using a dif car all the time) i was arrested and thrown in jail for 5 days, accused of stealing, had nothing on me, and did community service 100 hours. I am poor and indigenous. My accuser was a previous mayor. Sh*t happens.

     @georgetakei In a typical Florida grocery store parking lot, there are now hundreds of 80+ seniors wandering the lot looking for their cars terrified of getting shot if they make an error. ??????
