   I just heard a radio ad by the timeshare cancellation industry, advertising that they exist and can help you get out of the grip of the timeshare industry.

   While briefly researching how real this was (it's real), I found a heavily SEOed counter-article claiming that the timeshare cancellation industry was a scam.

   Hmm, I wonder who might have written that article... /s

     @urusan when a thing becomes so infamously bad that there are people who specialize in getting you out of that thing, how do people continue to get into that thing?

     This applies to timeshares, MLM, heroin, debt, and cults.

     I saw one of these get out of timeshare booths at the fair once.
