I am extremely skeptical of people who assert that they’re doing this sort of nonsense in the name of equity. Doesn’t compute. POSIWID, and this drives wedges between people and undermines public schools.

I just...I know way too many well-meaning white liberals who've convinced themselves that "giftedness" is just something that privileged parents buy their kids, and they're not 100% wrong about that, but also: kids like me exist, in all races.
