   Apparently there are no women doctors. Algorithm bias is real.

   I just released my post "AI In Healthcare - Why the Acceleration of Knowledge Will Be the Biggest Challenge!"

   While everyone is talking about the fun and exciting stuff about ChatGPT and stuff, no one is talking about the industry, career, and knowledge implications. I am.

   But there is also this issue. For the post, I asked Microsoft's Bing AI tool to draw me some images.

   The prompt? "A doctor is standing in front of a futuristic screen. The screen depicts the exponentiation of knowledge with charts and graphs, signifying new forms of medical knowledge, forms of treatment, diagnosis, new medical technologies, and more. The image has. very futuristic look"

   Every single doctor is male.

   Algorithm bias is real.

   They have no plan for it.

     @jenniferreitman It's not spam, and also helpful.

     They are also leaving red states because they don't to be harassed, abused, or attacked for abortion and related services. And hence, all these articles about a small towns and big city red-state locations where women can't have babies at the local hospital anymore.... because ... they've chased them away.

     My mind boggles. Some 60% to 70% of obstetricians in the US are female.

     @jimcarroll the other thing that your post reminds me of is how challenging it is *already* for women doctors. They're leaving the profession, so I naturally worry about representation in both AI *and* the real world
