WeChat basically is, in far more respects. You use it to not just to message people, but entire businesses run on it. It's an entire suite of services. You can book train tickets with it, order food over it, pay for things with it, etc.. It's not solely a social media application. @Deus@charcha.cc @yogthos@mas.to

I know several of my generation without FB. But in China (Luoyang), I've met literally nobody the last few years between ages 13-70 without WeChat.
