   @fossheim The long and short of it is that writing out the content might well be straightforward, but enunciating the specific tone or code you're going for might be harder, depending on your comfort with either, and having a ChatGPT-generated template to start off from might be useful for some people.

   Not an ideal situation, perhaps, but We Live, as they say, In A Society.

     Something I honestly don’t understand is people claiming using chatGPT (and similar tools) will make writing emails more efficient:

     1) writing a good prompt, and then proofreading and editing the response takes as much time as just writing the email.

     2) if it’s straightforward enough that LLMs output an accurate email, it’s straightforward enough to write it yourself.

     3) if the content is too advanced or important to quickly write yourself, why trust a potential nonsense generator with it?
