     @sharan @atheistengineer Photoshopped or not, it's becoming increasingly common for officials to use "a symbol of personal significance" for swearing in. Some high officials have sworn on their favorite book of legal or ethical theory. A city council member in San Jose swore his oath of office on his Captain America shield.
