Today I was reading "Manga in theory and practice" by Hirohiko Araki, and just from the prologue, I can muster that he's a man that loves his craft, regardless of the popularity of his manga, he still speaks in a rather humble way about it.
He adds special attention to the road of making manga, as something to stick to and take lots of care while delving into.
And even if the story is one of the most important parts, it's not quite the major thing that are the characters, as he says that there are works that don't have a story.
In that moment I couldn't stop thinking about Namori, as her manga has already more than ten years and it really hasn't changed much, it's all about the characters, and expressing their interactions with drawings.
Being able to express so much about your characters without words, just with your own drawings is something that I really respect. God I love that woman. Mad respect to you Namori ?-

@waifu Speaking of manga with little or no story, I recommend checking out BLAME! if you enjoy esoteric cyberpunk and insane megastructures. bits :waifu: likes this. -
