   #Flipboard impressions, continued:

   - My public account at cosocial.ca didn't work for the demo. When I added it to the UI, I got a message that it wasn't valid. I think there might be a small allowlist of servers that they're using, which will need to be changed soon. The fediverse is too big for allowlists!
   - THEY PROVIDE AN INSTANCE FOR FLIPBOARD USERS. This is epic. I got an account at @evanpro to try out.

   I'm excited to see how this develops. I love having Flipboard on the fediverse.

     I tried out the new #Flipboard experience for #mastodon Here's are my quick thoughts:

     - The UI was wonderful! Great job bringing the content from Mastodon into the Flipboard experience.
     - The support for different streams was ??? mwah, chef's kiss. Home, local and federated timelines are all available through the interface.
     - Performance was great! Few if any spinners or pauses. It felt like a real-time news experience.

     @maloki it's a fair concern. But as I've said before, embrace-extend-extinguish hasn't been a very successful strategy in the past. I'm glad so many people are aware and wary, but we shouldn't let it keep us from celebrating our wins.
