Every other day there's a Reddit post in the relevant #AI spaces that's basically asking the same question: Are humans all that different from LLMs?

Every time that happens, I want to say:

Walk through a forest and listen.

Touch something cold, and something hot.

Tell someone that you love them.

Dance a little dance.

Breathe.

LLMs are fascinating tech, and their descendants may well be one of many components for powerful AIs. But never let technology impoverish your sense of self.
