   Testing Mastadon for something I did like about Twitter—finding people! This: I’m looking for someone to make a slick social media-friendly ad using some video I have. I could look on Fiverr but would love to work with a local person I can potentially get to know a bit. I don’t have a ton of money but I don’t think this is a heavy lift.

   Anyone know anyone? Send links to portfolios/personal websites, please!

     Are you a Mac user? I had a similar need ... but found I could use Apple Motion ($50) with some Apple Motion templates off of Storyblocks to create some pretty slick stuff. Learn how to drop in the video, change the titles, add some stock music - magic.

     It took a little bit of learning but once I got through it, it became a pretty powerful skill set.

     @anamariecox I also had my Russian friend doing video work -- stuff like this. She was the producer of the Russian edition of Dancing with the Stars during the day, freelancing at night. Worked for a very good rate. Communications with her today are hit and miss, obviously - and she is NOT supportive of the war, obviously.
