   So. A scammer hijacks a YouTube channel. Said scammer determines "ah, the best way to find marks for this scam is to turn the channel into 'Tesla' and edit together clips of Elon saying stuff"

   I don't know what exactly this says about the cult of personality surrounding That Man and That Brand, but it sure says something!

     @TechConnectify I've long been complaining about the missing creativity of hackers these days. Everything is now a crypto scam. Why can't we have nice defacements and the occasional Max Headroom incident anymore?

     Apparently this has been going on for a while...

     I mean, it's not like I would expect Elon to say anything because if he has a personal credo it's probably Caveat Emptor, but ffs man.
