@nekothegamer@BrodieOnLinux@fosserytech imho both sides have advantages and disadvantages... like for example wayland increases security but also limit things with doing so and of course you dont have to use it... on the other side, since there is systemd, other services arent that much actively developed anymore and developers also dont like supporting every possible way, they usually depend on the most used tool... i guess such things happens as soon as a system gets more complicated
