@textfiles DPreview — the longest running digital camera site & forum — is shutting down. is there some way we can help archive it?
the loss to photography will be immense… half the time i'm trying to learn something, i end up on an old dpreview forums thread!

  It is with great sadness that after nearly 25 years of operation, we must announce that DPReview will close in the near future. This difficult decision is part of the annual operating plan review that our parent company shared earlier this year.
