The credit card I have on file for my water bill payment has been expired for the past 18 months and the county water department is still able to continue to charge my card and the payments are going through successfully.

Mind you, this is the same credit card number I’ve had on file for over 10 years.

But still.

I haven’t been bothered to login and update my payment information because the website has historically been archaic requiring MSIE and nothing else to use and I really don’t wait on hold for 45 minutes just to update my credit card information.

I guess I could go down there in person. The parking lot is always pretty empty.

But that card has been expired for almost 2 years and the charges are still working.
