I mean, it's still fully functioning hardware, but most apps doesn't support it anymore, and even some websites won't show in the default browser, so it's just a piece of e-waste now, for no fuckings reason.

@forteller It seems like Apple made really durable hardware back then. My iPad 2 would also be fully functional if it wasn't for the software. I read this article when it came out, but that's the last I heard about #Linux on #iPad: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/06/developers-get-linux-up-and-running-on-old-ipad-air-2-hardware/
