   @louis We're aware of and continuously moderate against spam accounts. FYI suspensions may not be immediately visible on your end because of how federation works.

     @Gargron I urge the admins of mastodon.social to look into the recent spam accounts (empty profiles with links to porn sites in their profile) coming from their server.

     I've recieved multiple reports from users of our instance, incl. myself, which were followed by one of these accounts, all coming from mastodon.social.

     You should suspend new user registrations until this is resolved, or at least require some form of moderation - which is usually done by manually moderated instances like ours.
