    FAQ for a major service

Q: In what countries is your service available?
A: Just go to our main website to find out which countries we serve.

I think if something is a FAQ, that should be a hint to them that their main website doesn't make this particularly easy to find out.

@clacke True, but I have also noticed many sites' "FAQ"s are merely Q&As with anticipated, rather than actual questions.

For example, if $SITE has been around a few years, actual FAQs will change a little, especially if the site has had a couple of redesigns or rewrites.

But if the site's FAQ answers anticipated questions, it tends to stay the same for several years at a time.

This is a tangent, and is not meant to distract from your point, which is 100% valid.

In fairness, FAQs for major services rarely contain any *actual* frequently asked questions, only the questions they wish people would ask.

All the search results for how to enjoy this service in Hong Kong, except the "FAQ", is "here are some VPNs", so that's a strong hint that it's not offered in HK.
