     @lucifer @Moon i just need one window and i'd prefer not to require any setup on the distant machine as it's not exactly mine, too, and i only need it for very brief graphical output

     @Moon @lucifer yeah, i don't need the full remote desktop but it does seem neat (i pretty much would only occasionally open a graphical app for a few seconds and work in a terminal the rest of the time)

     @helene @lucifer strictly speaking you don't need the full desktop, you can just forward windows. the real advantage is it makes it as fast as MS RDP instead of ass slow.
