     @bot @alex @ahmad I'm also curious cause at the same time Nostr exploded a bit, it seems like everyone started announcing ActivityPub projects on a much larger scale. Mozilla, Facebook, and Cloudflare are all working on the current Fediverse. Seems like Fedi will be the one to grow a market even tho Nostr is better.

     @eris @bot @ahmad ActivityPub was incredibly obvious 6 years ago and retarded corporations ignored it. Then it got hyped up and is now a fad. But these people are SIX YEARS BEHIND. And they have no clue that Nostr is the next thing.

     I can see fedi having more corporate support since it’s easier to monetise and they can also collect a ton of data about their users.

     @alex @ahmad @bot I think there needs to be a social movement to stay putting much more pressure on gigantic companies freeloading off the labor of free and open source software.
     
     I thought about helping jump in and getting some sort of idea to assuage this nostr identifier on the AP side issue thrown together into a PR, but I want to see Alex given more support first.

     Honestly, they missed the critical mass, who's coming, since the last year. Also they accepted during the next years will be impossible to keep costs and maintain server farms. Today they cut workers, tomorrow they'll cut data centers.
     Managing the protocol is cheaper than managing the system. They'll going to add mystique implementations of AP to support their marketing shit and everyone will be fine.

     I'm sceptic about Meta adoption of ActivityPub they just said decentralized and I instantly thought about the old failing Google Search Appliance they tried to sell to companies some years ago.
