     @john its generally a heavy hand of fascism and propaganda. wait or cultivate an event and then use that to bull rush everyone in to it. then use the war you rushed through as an excuse to imprison and terrorize your own people to make it seem like support is greater than it is and wait for normies to rationalize that they should support it because it looks like everyone else does.
     
     that's how the US gets in to basically every fucking thing that we do

     I don't think it's just Americans. War benefits very, very few people. It takes quite a bit to get normal folks truly on-board with a war on the other side of the globe.
