   It was nice with those couple of years when they at least cared to give the appearance of trying.

     Although, in many cases, the corporate ethics teams are a kind of fig leaf, the #Microsoft #layoffs make clear how (un)important #ethics implications are for big tech.

     How #AI is going to shape our future societies is such an important matter to leave it to "corporate responsibility".
