i’m making an optimization decision this morning.

the rain is falling hard.

i’m on a conference campground. my room is about 100 yards from the meeting space. the dining hall is another 100 yards beyond that.

i packed no rain gear.

i don’t particularly need breakfast, so i’ll sprint 100 yards and spare myself the extra 200 yards of drench.

i also overslept, so that’s technically a coffee in my book.
