   "Replace smart brainwashing device for a dumb one." LAME!!
   I suggest to just not watch TV at all, and if you really need to watch something that's on TV (like anime or an older movie), that's what torrents are for.

     @tanepiper@tane.codes the best thing to do is not connect them to internet ever and just use separate computer to replace """smart""" TV or get a TV from a company that sells one of the few """dumb""" ones

     So my LG "#smartTV" just enforced a policy update on me in Dutch and refused to let me use anything until I agreed to all of it.
