This weekend marked 15 years of living in the US. When I came to visit for a long weekend in 2008 I had no idea I’d wind up staying. Still so many things I don’t understand about living here but I can’t imagine living anywhere else now. Despite the snow and the imperial measures, life has been for the most part positive.

  When I was 19, I went to visit my girlfriend for the weekend. It turned into a long weekend, then a week. I lived there for 3 years till we moved to our own place. I'm sure her parents loved it! ?
