     @evan @pluralistic Cory once helpfully suggested folks filter "Long thread/" from their feeds and it works really well. I see the opening post only in home.

     @evan @tehstu Yes, he does, just a bit in spurts (especially when he is doing tour-related stuff). I dont get the unfollow mentality, creating a filter is trivial.

     @lonelymtn @evan @tehstu I believe the argument from Evan is that creating a “long thread” filter would be equivalent to a block if all his posts were marked with CW “long thread.”

     I think the idea, though is that the first post in the thread *isn’t* marked, so filtering out “long thread” should effectively remove the replies in the thread from your TL. Just my $.02.
