Those people will be able to survive the collapse better than anyone. In Thailand. the jungle people eat what they find in the jungle and live long lives. Mostly worms, bugs, birds. They are real survivalists

It’s ok to eat them if you’re starving or have no choice I guess.

tbh either way fish is fucked too, that’s how my family got mercury poisoning and I’m certain most companies are not 100% honest about their farming practices but that goes for most of american agriculture

they already add bugs to processed foods to increase the protein content without adding calories

A certain percentage of bugs is allowed in processed food which is gross. I wonder if they actually do add some deliberately.

But farmed fish should have lower levels of mercury generally. I typically buy wild caught but I also don’t eat it super often.

No they don't, I was an exterminator. Anytime you aggregate large amounts of food in one spot you WILL get pests. They mulch mice and deer in the combines come harvest. There's just enough food it kinda dillutes

Just search for the FDA allowing bugs in food, it’s a fact and it applies to a lot of food.
