   So you can edit a toot (post) but you cannot edit the alt text for an image included in a toot (post) which is sadness if you forget and really want to try to do it right.

     @rasterweb just ran into that too, it did allow me to delete and reattach the image and then edit the alt text

     @rasterweb you can edit, remove the image, then reupload, which lets you add the alt text. Source: I forget alt text all the time.
