    I should get equipment for imaging floppy disks (both 5.25" and 3.5") because I have quite a few of them that are probably worth archiving. Also I need equipment for ripping/imaging various video game carts.

      @coldacid I used to have some IBM internal programs for Imaging floppies. You should be able to use the DD command in Linux once you get a physical drive installed which means you will need an older box that still supports a floppy cable. Or try to find one of those external drives that supports a USB connection. Right now there's a deal on an external USB based DVD / CD burner for $20. I think it was at best buy. Finding a 3.5" / 5.25" external floppy may take a specialty store.
