   Long press the home button and "hide replies". It's also possible with Tusky through settings.

     @andi @apps Tusky also shows the thread when you tap the post, and the reply icon shows there are replies so that's a good indicator.
     The problem is that all those reply-posts from the OP also end up in my feed, so I've seen those already, which is a bit annoying.
