   Apparently, there is a bill being passed that would prevent the Federal Reserve from creating a CDBC. But knowing the government, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

     @xianc78 probably just renames it to CBDC and introduces laws banning the use of crypto, owning precious metals, and possessing a firearm with more than a two round capacity. If it doesn't, they'll just amend it after everyone finishes pretending to read it, 5 seconds before the voting starts. Never trust a bill to do what the government says it's going to do.
