Another day, another worldwide copyright block for watching and commenting on a 60 second news clip. How do the people who do this full-time as a job handle dealing with this shit on a daily basis?

I know that some of those reaction channels have to blur out the video side/distort the audio, break it up even more and/or talk over it. Copyright's really gay, especially as it's obvious to anyone with a couple of spare braincells that almost all of it legally falls under fair use.

Yeah, only twice have I had to submit a fair use dispute, and both times were for short documentary content of less than 60 seconds in a 3 or 4 hour stream. The thing that sucks is the vod will be hidden for 48 hours. There is a more serious "appeal" option you can use instead of "dispute" which makes your video visible immediately, but if you are overruled on the appeal then you get a copyright strike on your channel. The "dispute" option takes longer but has no negative consequences if you're overruled.

Yeah, and they don't necessarily follow the law on fair use with those appeals.. Especially when it's involving big corporations making the claims.
Probably better just to take the 2 days hidden for most content creators.
