     You have a right to breathe air. Taking that right is taking their freedom.
     You do not have a right to be a sodomite. Banning sodomy is not taking their freedom.
     Whether you have any right to ban the specific thing is an essential aspect you are ignoring which causes your confusion. Try looking up "Natural Rights" and what are and aren't "Natural Rights" and you can figure this out. Hope this helps!
