     @clacke With the real Canada, people threaten to move there, but relatively few actually start the process. With the Fediverse and several other platforms, user counts show that people are actually moving. (But there's no guarantee they'll stay.)

     The other difference between moving from the US to Canada and moving from Twitter to the Fediverse is that you don't have to leave Twitter to move to the Fediverse...

     Not a lot of people move to Fedi from Twitter in Twitter numbers.
