     @mattl It's called "Easy" or "Story" or "Narrative" mode, and it's generally a choice at the beginning of the game.

     @mattl Celeste has an assist mode but gently reminds you that the game is meant to be challenging before you enable it. A nice balance, I think.

     @mattl I often use WeMod now, on the PC. I basically feel that if you use cheats then within the universe of the game your invincibility or whatever is god's will. I will use no or few or many cheats depending on how many annoying mechanics the game has, I have quite a high tolerance for tedious grinding for instance.
