     Yeah, exactly, any Fedi platform that gets more users also gives the other platforms a bigger audience.

     @feditips I have to say it’s a great introduction and potentially a huge source of inspiration for other Fediverse networks! It defines a problem and it explains how Mastodon tries to solve it in a really simple way ^^.

     Yeah. For some reason they don't seem to have added any new instances, at least no new general instances. I opened an issue about it but no one replied:

     https://github.com/mastodon/joinmastodon/issues/184

     I understand servers listed have to comply with certain reliability requirements, so that may mean it's always a small fraction of total, but I know at least one server that meets all those requirements and actively tried to get listed, but was ignored.

     Yeah. I don't understand why they took it down! It's just as relevant now.

     Maybe slight alteration to the voice-over about user numbers, maybe call them servers instead of instances, but those are really small changes.
